The Lightstone Group Signs Two Tenants to Lease Extensions at Mountainville Shopping Plaza in Allentown, Pa.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (May 30, 2011) – The Lightstone Group announced that two lease extensions have been signed at the Mountainville Shopping Plaza in Allentown, Pa.

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Wine & Spirits signed an extension for 5,515 square feet and H&R Block signed one for 1,500 square feet. The liquor store owner exercised a first option to extend the terms of the lease for an additional three years. The tax preparer extended for a five-year term.

"Both of these tenants took advantage of the current market conditions and signed early deals," said David Lichtenstein, chairman of the Lightstone Group. "The quality of the tenant mix at the center was another key determining factor for Commonwealth and H&R Block."

The 118,000 square-foot plaza is among a strong residential population. Key tenants are Kmart, True Value Hardware, Eckerd Drugs, Price Rite Supermarket and McDonalds.

"The deals are a result of a long-term announcement with PriceRite," explained Jeffrey Dash, vice president of leasing for The Lightstone Group. "The supermarket signed for 10 additional years and renovated the interior and exterior of the building."
