THE LIGHTSTONE GROUP SIGNS LEASE EXTENSION WITH EPIC THEATRE
MANAGEMENT, INC. AT NEW SMYRNA BEACH SHOPPING CENTER


LAKEWOOD, N.J., Aug 10, 2009 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ ---- The Lightstone Group, one of the largest private real estate owners in the country, today announced a 35,280-square-foot lease extension with EPIC Theatre Management, Inc. d/b/a Epic Theatres, one of the area's largest cinemas.

"The EPIC Beacon Theatre is a first-rate movie theater that offers residents of New Smyrna Beach a great selection of today's hottest movies," said Jeffrey Dash, vice president for leasing of The Lightstone Group. "It has been a great draw to the shopping center and it will continue to provide residents with access to one of the country's most enjoyable and fun past times."
The 12-screen New Smyrna Beacon Theatre, located in the 101,321-square-foot New Smyrna Beach Shopping Center, is the only movie theater in the neighborhood. Located in a residential community, the theater and shopping center are a destination attraction for locals.

The New Smyrna Beach Shopping Center will also be adding a pylon sign that will clearly and attractively inform shoppers and passersby of the wide variety of stores and attractions located in the mall.

In addition to the EPIC Beacon Theatre, The Lightstone Group also announced that Full House Sweepstakes Internet Cafe LLC has signed a 1,800-square-foot, long-term lease at the New Smyrna Beach Shopping Center. Full House Sweepstakes Internet Cafe will provide Internet access for a fee and serve as a regular cafe, offering a limited menu and drinks.

The shopping center, which is located at 1441 South Dixie Freeway at the corner of Sixth Street, is also home to a Parts Depot, a major U.S. distributor and reseller of automotive parts, and Sears Hardware, one of the country's leading retailers of appliances, hardware, electronics and lawn and garden equipment. Other tenants include Dollar General, Sherman Williams and Gatto's GoodYear Service Center.
