The Lightstone Group Signs The Dog House to A Long-Term Lease Extension in Manchester, Conn.
Canine Day Care Extends Its Lease At Hale Road Plaza

MANCHESTER, Conn. (June 14, 2010) – The Lightstone Group announced that The Dog House Inc. has signed a seven-year, 6,592-square-foot lease extension at its Hale Road Plaza shopping center in Manchester, Conn.

The Dog House is a full-service canine day care center that also specializes in the retail sale of puppies, dog grooming, pet training and veterinary work. The transaction is an extension of a contract The Dog House already had to operate in the facility.

“The Dog House has been a great tenant of ours, and have been very successful at the Hale Road Plaza,” said Jeffrey Dash, vice president of leasing for The Lightstone Group. “The shopping center is conveniently located near major roads in the area, keeping a consistent flow of traffic, and customers to the Dog House.”

Hale Road Plaza is 111,993-square-feet of shopping space in the Buckland Hills shopping zone. The plaza’s anchor stores include the Christmas Tree Shops, Guitar Center, Creative Playthings and Cape Cod Crafters.
